Getting Started
Flynt is currently invite-only. You can join by receiving an invite. We're gradually expanding to ensure a quality community experience.
We require a selfie photo for liveness verification (to confirm you're a real person) and impersonation checks. This helps us maintain a trusted community where everyone is who they say they are. The verification is quick and happens when you sign up.
This is what makes Flynt different. By requiring everyone to attend a Flynt event first, we ensure that all members have been verified in person. This creates a trusted community where you know the people you're making plans with have actually shown up and been seen by our team.
The only mandatory information is your first name, month and year of birth (to approximate your age), a selfie for verification, and at least one profile photo. Everything else — like your interests, location, and other details — is optional.
Events & Plans
Flynt events are curated group experiences that we organize — things like pizza making, pottery workshops, pickleball, karaoke nights, and more. They're designed to be fun, social, and a great way to meet new people in a relaxed setting. Groups are kept small so you actually get to know each other.
Once you've attended a Flynt event and been verified in person, you unlock the ability to create your own plans and join plans made by other members. These are activities organized by community members — anything from a weekend hike to a coffee meetup to a game night. It's the community doing things together.
Browse the events in the app, find one that interests you, and tap to RSVP. You'll see the event details including date, time, location, and who else is going. Some events may have limited spots, so RSVP early for popular ones.
Yes! When you create a plan, you can make it open for other verified members to request to join, or you can directly invite specific people you've connected with through events. You control who joins your plans.
Privacy & Safety
By default, other members can see your profile photo, first name, and any optional information you've chosen to share. However, you can hide any of your profile information — including mandatory fields — from other members through your privacy settings.
Go to Settings in the app and tap on Privacy. From there, you can choose what information is visible to other members. You have full control over your profile visibility.
Our 3-step verification process (selfie liveness check, impersonation detection, and in-person verification at events) ensures that every member is a real person who has actually shown up. This significantly reduces fake profiles, bots, and bad actors compared to apps without these safeguards.
If someone makes you uncomfortable or violates our community guidelines, you can Block & Report them directly from their profile or from your chat with them. Our team reviews all reports and takes appropriate action. Your report is confidential — we don't tell the other person who reported them.
Payments & Refunds
Flynt only charges for offline events if an event is paid. There are free events as well. The app itself is free to use, including creating plans, joining member plans, and chatting with other members.
For events hosted by Flynt, you can get a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before the event starts. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the event are not eligible for a refund.
For events hosted by third-party organizers, their refund policy applies. You can find the specific refund terms in the event description before you book. We recommend reviewing these terms before purchasing tickets.
Account & Data
Go to Settings in the app and tap on "Delete Account". Your account will be deleted immediately, and your personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days. We may retain limited data only where required by law (such as for fraud prevention or legal compliance), and any such data is stored securely and deleted once the legal requirement expires. No. Flynt does not track your activity across other apps or websites. We do not use advertising identifiers or participate in cross-app tracking. All data we collect is used solely within the Flynt platform.
